Our People

Anne O’ Connel

Executive Director

Anne has over twenty years experience leading Merchandise Planning and Finance for retail companies like Disney, Sears and TOMS. While at TOMS, she transitioned to a new role to lead the company’s global Giving Trips program. In this role she worked with TOMS’ network of NGO partners across the globe to connect TOMS staff and community of supporters with the company’s social mission. Anne is now leveraging her experiences in business and social impact to develop the giving strategy and processes for SOHO Impact.

Asia Director

Camilla’s 10-year career has been driven by a single purpose- creating impact. She has put mission into practice in a wide spectrum of fields, ranging from finance to CSR. Prior to joining SOHO Impact, she led investment projects at Change Ventures, a social venture accelerator based in Thailand. Prior to that, she worked for SK Group in Korea, leading the company’s CSR strategy as well as launching Asia’s first corporate-led impact investing fund. As Asia Director at SOHO Impact, Camilla is paving the way to build new exciting partnerships to grow the next-generation leaders in the region.

Jonathan Lang

Storyteller & Project Manager

Jonathan uses visual storytelling as a means to amplify awareness of social justice issues. As a comic book author, award-winning filmmaker, social media professional, and former teacher, Jonathan has worked with a wide array of clients from film festivals to a skateboarding fashion brand. Jonathan developed his community-building strategy in the brick and mortar space as a former owner of Brooklyn’s first coffee shop/video store. He now focuses on empowering individuals to tell their stories in order to make the personal, universal. As a father, he enjoys channeling his creativity towards building towers and tunnels with his son.

Bruce B. Heller

Builder-in-Residence

After drawing for 20 years in the animation industry, Bruce began designing LEGO models independently on commission as Cornerstone Brick Designs. He has worked closely with the LEGO fan community, artists and children all over the world, fostering creativity and teaching building techniques for short-term projects and instructional courses. SOHO Impact gives him the opportunity to share his passion for creativity with young people through collaborative events and partnerships.

Jay Kim

Partnership and Logistics Manager

Based on language learning in Belgium for 5 years, Jay started his career in Global Business team from household electrical appliance company managing 3rd party trade among US and China branches. He managed the company's US branch to execute new product launches and consolidate feedback from US to Korean engineers. After 5 years in Global Sales, Jay had a chance to develop himself in Marketing team in Norwegian baby product company. Launching Flagship store with brand aligned department stores, as a Trade Marketer, managed marketing activities related to sales channels. At SOHO Impact, Jay supports merchandise materials, manage logistics, and support projects.

Jungju is the founder of Nexon and CEO of NXC Corporation. He is lauded as one of Asia’s most distinguished entrepreneurs and helped South Korea gain solid footing as a global leader in the online gaming industry. NXC supports next generation digital technologies and actively participates in community-based outreach and cultural projects. Jungju serves as SOHO Impact’s Chairman of the Board.

President

Priya has a passion for building bridges and catalyzing partnerships to bring solutions to tough global challenges. Her journey has spanned the sectors from creating the business response to the AIDS pandemic, to using entrepreneurship to drive positive change in the world at Virgin Unite, scaling a mission-driven business and launching the social entrepreneurship fund at TOMS, and serving as the Founding President & CEO of SOHO Impact. Priya is currently CEO of Tarsadia Foundation, a California-based foundation driving economic mobility in the U.S., India and Africa via strategic philanthropy and impact investing. A busy mom of two – Priya doesn’t go a day without play.

Jaekyo has been involved in a wide spectrum of businesses within NEXON company over twenty years ranging from public relations, branding to corporate social responsibility. Not only she holds a board director role in Nexon Foundation, she actively takes the initiative in a companywide social responsibility activities of NEXON. Jaekyo firmly believes that our future is heavily dependent upon how we nurture children’s creativity, leadership not to mention health. She started her career in Hyundai Motors Company’s public relations and branding department, where her eyes have been set on sustainable values of the society – which ultimately led her to board with NEXON company to fulfill the calling.

Wesley Worth

Finance Director at NXMH

Wesley has over seven years of experience advising large multinational companies and private equity funds on US tax issues and mergers and acquisitions. More recently, he has focused his career on overseeing the operational, tax and finance functions of a single family office in Belgium. Wesley is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he volunteered numerous hours with an NGO in Italy providing humanitarian aid to Kosovar refugees in Slovenia and Croatia.
